Position Overview
You are an experienced Residential HVAC Installer. You are able to install furnace and condensing units without training or assistance. You have the ability to work from our headquarters in Clifton Park and travel to visit customer’s homes the majority of the time you are at work. You have the ability to learn quickly and can retain knowledge. You have a willingness and comfort level to diagnose errors and technical problems, effectively and professionally inform, educate, communicate solutions, and offer options. Great communication skills are key. While already operating at a high level, you understand and accept training and coaching as a source of constant growth.
You have the opportunity to abundantly exceed $55,000 based on experience and potential add-on options.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC Split Systems, Furnaces, Condensers, Air Handlers, Hydronic Systems, Package units, Mini Splits to Grasshopper Standards
- Installation of copper line sets, gas lines, wiring, venting, drain lines to Grasshopper Standards
- Building return stands
- Building duct plenums
- Installation of full duct systems
- Scheduled Duct repairs
- Maintaining inventory in service vehicles and cleanliness. Maintaining a cleanly work site and vehicle.
- Completing installation checklists, paperwork and submitting all pictures to our CRM Software
- Collecting signature and payment at job completion
Requirements
- No Criminal history (no criminal convictions). Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to safely lift at least 50 pounds solo.
- Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
- Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the installation of HVAC equipment.
- Demonstrate willingness to invest time into training to advance position.
- Demonstrate commitment to developing customer service and communication skill.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn knowledge of indoor air quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions given.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time in tight conditions such as attics and below structure crawl spaces.
- Manual dexterity required to operate a range of power and hand tools.
- Must have your own reliable transportation
- Valid NY Driver’s License with a clean MVR
- Must have working cell phone with internet connection
